Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club Nothern Section, a section of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club are Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor car enthusiasts. The northern section members required a website for their section that will be a directory of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars events in their section of the UK.
The aim was to produce a database driven website that will store all the motor car event information, and all the information to be searched by month, car type and event location.
The website that was produced consists of a mix for XHTML pages based a XHTML template using CSS2 styling. Most of the XHTML pages integrate classic ASP code using simple and joint SQL queries to search the MS Access database that stores the event and organiser information.
Extension 1
A picture gallery content system has been developed and added to the website to allow postings of pictures from Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor car shows and display them in a specified order and in designated categories.
Extension 2
A content system has been developed and added to the website allows the posting of news and articles in addition to Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor car show and event listings.
